We were awakened to the sound of Currawong’s calling their lyrical music drifting through the cold air having briefly left city life to be with Swami a visiting monk from the Ramakrishna order.
Steaming breathe creating a soft cloud before me I followed others into the meditation room. Swami who had traveled from the banks of the Ganges; how was he feeling in the cold air of Mount MacedonVictoria?
During question time a young man explained that he was bored by his life and frustrated in his accountancy job. Inspired by the presence and wise words Swami had shared with us over the weekend he intended leaving his job and city life and joining the Swami in India starting at the Ramakrishna mission.
“Young man my advice to you is “Bloom where you are planted”.
